Proof of Concept
Currently, Big Grid proof of concept application is in development and will be available soon. Check back here from time to time or keep your eye on the forums because we will announce it there.
Once it is complete, this pre-bleeding edge application will be made available for general download but it will be far from a grid computing application. We would love you to try it out as its main objective will be to prove the concept of the Big Grid.
If you are interested in participating in the Big Grid proof-of-concept trials, please do let us know.
Big Grid Super Computer project is currently in a pre-planning phase. You are welcome to view and comment on the current proposed specification document. This will out line the functionality and architecture for the initial release and will set out the shape of future releases.

Big Grid Licensing The Big Grid project will be released as an open source project as described by the Open Source Initiative. It is currently undecided which license will be used but the currently proposed license is the Open Software License version 2.1. If you have any comments regarding this, please let us know in the forums. |
